I've got no problems with either the NCAA or OUR own government. I do however, have a problem with how both are being operated. NCAA needs a complete overhaul. As does the house and senate.

Members are free to leave and form their own organization if they choose. The government needs to mind their own business and STFU.

All the bowl games are negotiated by the NCAA and the NCAA sbns the contract. Tams/Conferences who withdraw from the NCAA would not be selected for any bowl games. The NCAA has college football between a rock and a hard place.
that does not mean that Colleges/Conferences count not negotiate their own bowls games, but the TV networks have long term contracts with the NCAA and will not pay anywhere the $$$ for new bowl games. It will be a while before the major conferences brisk away and form a Super Conference.

So based on the article, Tennessee is one of the schools that does not support the idea of giving four-year scholarships.

Yes or at least they did not in 2012. Seems like many institutions/conferences are changing their minds about many things, hopefully UT will get with the program on this issue.
