I see. I think if Chase had been on the mound and/or facing their dugout, it would have been an infraction imo. But so was their Dickheaderson with his photo op celebration, I suppose. And he was not in or entering his dugout. I think Dickheaderson may have caught a warning there. Not sure. I was in the stands but couldn't make it out. I think Blue got involved. I will say Dickerson is a good player. Glad he got smoked in Game 3!

To be honest, if there wasn't a closeup shot of him, I doubt anyone would have even noticed it at all. I don't think they would penalized. If they didn't penalize last year for the flying double bird, they won't penalize for this.

I agree about the close up, but thank goodness for it: it is a moment for the ages. I think they did penalize the birds last year. I may misremember it. But he surely wasn't headed toward his dugout!

Yeah, there was definitely a firm warning for USM after the photo HR celebration, the reason being that Dickerson was on the side of our dugout when he did it. Looked like the coach was chewed out by the ump. Later they did it again but made sure the "photographer" was on their side of the plate, which was fine.
