I believe the NCAA is making a mistake for a variety of reasons but I agree that it’s their mistake to make. They can do what they want and then the consumers can choose to watch or not. It’s the same as the NFL and Kaep situation. I support Kaep’s right to kneel. It’s not about agreeing with it or not. He has a right to do so. And the NFL teams have a right to say they don’t want him on their teams. If you don’t like the NCAA’s decision you can choose not to watch and give your money, you can choose to watch but be disgruntled, you can choose to protest or petition, you can choose to move on, or something else entirely. Freedom sure is grand. There are many countries where these choices aren’t available from any point of view.Relax, folks. These are turbulent times and many people are hurting. If someone feels like he or she might feel just a teeny bit better by putting some lettering on a jersey, let them do it. As an adult, I have free will to either appreciate the lettering or ignore it. I don't have the energy or the will to criticize whatever little things others are hoping will help them get through all this madness. People are desperate to find something, anything, they can feel they have some control over these days, and in my opinion, putting words on a jersey is probably the most benign thing they could do.
Watch the games if there actually are any, and try to enjoy knowing that our American young people have a voice. Whether you agree with what they have to say with it or not is beside the point.
This will not end well:
The NCAA will allow student-athletes in all sports to wear social justice statements on their uniforms, including replacing last name with words to celebrate or memorialize people, events or other causes.
Calm down chuckletits, I'm not an expert on his rap sheet like your guys - all I knew he was a petty criminal that dabbled in counterfeiting.
This is what happens when you kowtow to a bunch of children throwing a ball around. And all they wanted was to just wear a social justice patch on their uniform.

Sad part is all these players have been hyped to the point where they think that I’ll blindly follow their lead. This is what happens when you kowtow to a bunch of children throwing a ball around. And all they wanted was to just wear a social justice patch on their uniform.
