NCAA to release sanctions/penalties against Penn State Monday Morning

Between the Grand Jury and the independent investigation, that's all that've been accused. I'm not willing to assume such hideous behavior from anyone without a shred of proof.

Didn't ask what you know. I'm asking what you believe. I'm just saying that given the amount of individuals involved in that program; coaches, players, administrators, alumni, custodial, etc. Chances are pretty high that more knew about it.

Perhaps. But should the NCAA act because some anonymous folks might have done wrong?

No but then again, I don't think their actions are necessarily based on the assumption that more were involved. I was just pointing out that it's likely that more than 7 people knew about this. Infact, I have a co-worker who grew up in that area and she said that the Sandusky child molestation jokes had been going around in that area for years! She said there was even a local ice cream shop that she went to and said they named one of their flavors "Sandusky" because of the running joke! Now if the general public in that area heard these "rumors" for years, don't you think more people on the inside HAD to have known about this?

The guy who MIGHT have taken Derrick Rose ACT says hello.

In that instance, the NCAA knows that someone other than Rose took it.

In this instance, this is no way to know for sure if anyone other than Schultz, Spanier, Curley, Paterno, McQueary, and the Janitors knew what was going on.

Wait until the investigation for 2nd Mile is completed.

Sandusky's wife, at least one of his sons, campus police

Some right off top of my head

I imagine that much more will come out during the forthcoming trials of Curley, Schultz, and (hopefully) Spanier.

I'm telling you right now! If I'm Penn St's prez or part of the governing body of that university, I am taking serious consideration to renaming the university! I don't think anyone is going to want to associate themselves with that name anymore! Recruits won't want to play there. General students probably don't want to go there. Not to mention the sale of merchandise! Would YOU want to wear a shirt that says Penn St? They might as well be called "Sandusky University" at this ponit.

Sandusky's family members weren't employed by the school.

And explain to me about the campus cops. I'm not sure what you're getting at.

You were saying that those 4 were the only ones that knew

In the original report, I believe it was stated that the head of campus security was also privy to the information

He was privy to the '98 case. I think it's fair to excuse him since the DA declined to press charges at that point.

Yeah I didn't even think about that. You're right. I'm sure there's MUCH more to uncover.

In the end, after everything is brought to light, we may be coming back and saying the NCAA didn't do enough. Who knows?

Didn't their ruling include a stipulation for continued investigation in the matter? As criminal investigations uncover more, there may be more to come from the 'AA also.
