Officials in NMSU-Kansas are embarrassing. Missed calls both ways and the baseline official just signaled a block then changed his call to a charge. I mean...

Not the most competitive two games so far to start off the day.

Kansas alternates between looking like a young team with good potential and looking like a disjointed bunch of freshmen who are playing their first game together

And their great coach.

Yeah, that too, but Izzo has typically either underperformed or failed to perform above seed expectations as a lower seed (7 or lower). I don't anticipate them beating UVA but it's not like I'd be surprised.

Speaking of UVA, starting to find irrational excitement for their game against Belmont. Neither team fouls or forces turnovers at all. Can I get a prop bet for this being the shortest game of the tournament?

Unless I see something in one of these underdogs I have yet to see, might be the first year since 2007 with no 12 over 5 upsets.

Kansas put up their second-best field goal rate of the season against a team that came into the game 6th-best at defending the three. I don't think that'll happen against Wichita.

If you foul on a three-point attempt ever you deserve to lose. Sorry. You can defend the three without flying into a person in mid-air.
