I remember he was going to be the next can't miss superstar.

Yep. And I wasted paycheck after paycheck at that time trying to get his Upper Deck rookie card. I finally got it after spending bunches of money on boxes & packs of cards. I still have his rookie card today which is worth .15.

What a star he turned out to be. When his rookie card got 1st released it was worth $30. Now, it's barely worth a piece a bubble gum. LOL!
