NCAA Tourney Running Thread

If you think he does more with more then we'll agree to disagree.

We'll agree to disagree then. He did a crappy job of coaching tonight. I can't make that point any more abundantly clear than I already have in my last few posts. The man also has 2 National Championships in the last 6 seasons, and he's now one game away from reaching his 8th Final Four. To say that he's a run of the mill coach is ludicrous. Tonight they were missing the best pure point guard in the nation, and their backup point guard (starting shooting guard) has missed almost the entire season with a torn ACL.

Refs are making sure this one isn't going to get chippy. Ky doesn't have a deep bench.

Ky only has 2 fouls though...both on Davis. Indiana already has 7 and there is 13+ to go and Ky is in the bonus. LOL.

Run of the mill was in regards to his X's and O's. When you hear great X's and O's coaches, you rarely hear Williams' name mentioned. Do some research. The coaches with the best players usually win. I'd take Izzo, K, Knight and a number of others over Williams any day especially with similar talent.

Check how many titles he had at Kansas. He was more likely to lose in the 2nd round than anything. Why? Because he didn't have the talent there like he had at UNC and couldn't rely on his coaching to get his team over the hump.

Awwww shucks Roy Williams is not a top 5 x/o coach, case closed.

I know they're biased, but I've yet to find many Ky fans that think Williams is a great X's and O's coach. I think a large majority of them would agree that K is a much better one even though they hate him and their program.

Nine fouls on Indiana nine minutes in, two on UK (both on Davis). Ahem.

Obviously, that was the right call, but I haven't agreed with many in this game.

I'm surprised at this pace. Ky is usually much better at keeping teams in the 20's at the half, but they have a nice lead so it doesn't matter.

I forgot this game was at the Ga Dome. I hope the Ky fans are enjoying their nosebleed seats. They might as well be at the CNN Center.

God, I'd hate watching hoops in that place.
