This game is tough on me. As you see under my screen name a Vol from birth, but a Belmont grad. Needed out of Knoxville for the college experience, Small school in a big city was great. BUT BUT BUT, though I never missed a men' s of women's basketball game there, many were viewed with my transistor radio earpiece with Vol games. I would then go back to the dorm and watch the late nite replays on the Tartan floors of Stokely form 69' to 73'. Love both places for different reasons. But Orange blood is what it is. Of course back then Belmont was a member of the VSAC conference in the NAIA.

She shot 50% so not bad. Only Puckett shot better.

Very productive 1st Half. I'm very glad to see LVs are not sitting back & letting Belmont take charge of how things are gonna be in this game.

12 points is a very tenuous lead with how Belmont shoots the 3. First 4 mins of the third quarter will decide this game.

Disagree completely... we control the paint and Belmont will have to play almost perfectly to win. Tennessee can score 30 and have 65 and Belmont has to avg 20 or better per quarter. That's a really tough ask.

Defense was good we worked them really hard made them have to search for a shot. Rebounding is where we miss Horston the most they wouldn't be getting those extra shots with her in there. We can't make a layup or this game would be almost out of hand for Belmont. Hopefully we can go 35 to 23 again that would be a 70 to 46 win.

She missed bunnies and lost several passes that she should have caught. Shooting 50% 5ft and in isn't great IMO.

She had her frowny face on. And made a comment about TK elbowing the defender which didn’t happen. The defender fake flopped when she posted then fouled the crap out of her on the shot with no call.

Rebounding is 27 to 20 Tennessee not as big a margin as you would like, but at least were winning that stat. Just three turnovers thus far hopefully that stays in single digits. Hopefully we can push out a plus ten quarter in the third and have 22 point lead going into the fourth quarter.
