So far the freshmen have held their own. They have the speed and the desire. They are full of fire. TK needs to attack the boards more on both ends.

If we can come out hot in the second half we can make them panic and then it is even harder to hit those outside shots.

Rebounding is 27 to 20 Tennessee not as big a margin as you would like, but at least were winning that stat. Just three turnovers thus far hopefully that stays in single digits. Hopefully we can push out a plus ten quarter in the third and have 22 point lead going into the fourth quarter.

Way too man oboards for them. 8-8 even in that category. Our post players are boxing out really well but the guards are not securing the long rebounds. TK, Alexus and Sarah cannot physically get to those. Horston is good about cleaning them up. We need Burrell to go get a dang rebound instead of sprinting to the corner and jacking up shots.

Very productive 1st Half. I'm very glad to see LVs are not sitting back & letting Belmont take charge of how things are gonna be in this game.

Excellent point. This is something we have had trouble with in the past. The most aggressive team usually wins in basketball. Too often in the past decade that has not been us.

Burrell was the weak link in the first half for me. She took several quick shots that lead to Belmont scores. We only had 3 turnovers on paper, but those are good as a turnover.

Hopefully she can settle in and play better this half like she did Saturday.
