My neighbor has a dog that they never have on a leash and the dog has started to 💩 in my yard… 😡🤬 I went over and spoke with the homeowner and she apologized. Welllll move forward about two weeks ago. I’m putting out my trash and once again there were a few piles of 💩. I went back over and they were all home and no one came to the door but they know it was me (Ring Doorbell) I grabbed my shovel and scooped it up and slung it back to their yard…I came home last week and now they’ve added another dog and they can’t even take care of the one they already have.. I’ve called Animal Control and they went over to give a warning… obviously that didn’t work because I came home today and there’s another effing pile of ****. I’m so over the nastiness and disregard for my yard… Anyone have any advice on what I can do? I’m getting some outside cameras with night vision installed for evidence for the Animal Control but what else because obviously my neighbor could care less🙄😤

That sucks...my family dealt with a similar situation a year ago. I'd keep calling animal control about the dog being off-leash; I know in my neck of the woods they start assessing fines after 2 or 3 warnings, and each subsequent occurrence increases the fine. Usually that will get the owner's attention after a time or two. Just stick to your guns and be persistent.

It really does. It’s hella disrespectful and inconsiderate. The animal control person stated that I needed video or photo evidence of the dog doing the offense in my yard. I am. I just hate to deal with confrontation but I work too damn hard for what I have. Thanks for the advice.

How about putting up a fence
I’ve considered this but it’s on the side of the house and I don’t know how that would work. I’m calling around for some quotes and will more than likely move towards getting one… ugh

Ahhh, gotcha. Trail cam with a timestamp may be the way to go then...that, or sprinklers with motion sensors on them.

Like the sprinklers with motion sensors and high streaming water that’ll sting the dog idea.. thank you

Just another example of why it should be a lot more difficult to adopt a dog and why there should be way more enforcement and regulation over dog breeding

I’ve been told that by a few other people… I’ve just been scooping it in a shovel and slinging it and it lands wherever on their property that it does…. Some people just flat out suck!!!

Treat it like cornhole. 1 point if it sticks on the roof, 3 points if it is near the chimney or any sort of air intake, 5 points if you ring the chimney itself.
