First I’m glad your dad is doing good. I’m ok, going tomorrow for my last chemo infusion that takes 4.5 hours to complete. Thanks for asking.@hmanvolfan how are you doing today? Continued prayers your way friend...
Thanks. The drug is Paclitaxel and if it’s like the original chemo I took it’s side effects get incrementally worse. Luckily I only have to have two infusions of it so it won’t get as bad as the original treatments that were six infusions.Last Thursday! I hope that it has been effective, and that you aren’t miserable afterwards (or at least that it doesn’t last long.)![]()
We have a little lady at church who used to find mom every Sunday. Mom always said it felt like Mrs. Jackson was trying to hug her own strength into her.Thanks. Been praying for you guysI’m wound up this morning. The blonde one is going in for her consultation for her hysterectomy but there’s also a clinical trial she’s been asked to join.

This is what GVG went through HMan. Don't know how it compares. 6 rounds, 3 weeks apart.Thanks. I’ve been taking the immunotherapy drug Keytruda for about two years. It killed all the metastatic lesions but left the original lesion in my right upper lobe that has been held in limbo all this time until three months ago when a CT scan showed it starting growing again thus adding the chemo. This drug is a plant alkaloid, a taxane and a antimicrotubule agent. Also taking carboplatin. When I was first diagnosed I was getting two platinum based chemo drugs that were super toxic. This is what GVG went through HMan. Don't know how it compares. 6 rounds, 3 weeks apart.
Often drugs from different groups are combined. One of the most common combinations is called CHOP. This includes the drugs cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin (also known as hydroxydaunorubicin), vincristine (Oncovin) and prednisone. Another common combination leaves out doxorubicin and is called CVP.
Chemo is often combined with an immunotherapy drug, especially rituximab (Rituxan).
Platinum based chemo sucks boss and you know that but I firmly believe that you and the Lord got this. Just get them to give you some super roids to help with appetite and make them bones feel good!I’ve been taking the immunotherapy drug Keytruda for about two years. At hospital. Spouse got t boned on way home from treatment. She's getting looked at now. Got busted open but appears she avoided serious injuries.
Damn man, glad she appears to be ok. Good she is getting checked for any hidden injuries but the f bomb sounds like she is kicking its ass.She appears to be fine. She's alert, speaking, walking around, feisty, dropped a F bomb.
