The postal guys added up the postage random people had been defrauded out of. That doesn’t include the cost of magazines and brochures. At the time it was over 1300$. More has come in since then. It shocked me how much was there. I just wanted it to stop but it turns out the feds are going to be a little more hard nosed on the subject.
Even though I’ve lost no money….apparently logging in and pretending to be me to request information is still identity theft and very serious when you involved a federal agency…..apparently

They are using my name but I always use my middle initial on everything. They didn’t know that because anything they have sent has just my first and last name. I’ve checked with about 10 places and they and they all have the same bogus phone number and bogus email address on the request page.
