Sorry boss, thought you guys were out of the woods for a bit.@malinoisvol
Having a pretty good day.
We spent the day gardening.
Thanks for asking, Brother.
We still have the results of the biopsy out there but judging by the pictures and the bloodwork we’re expecting good things.
Not sure why the quote didn’t show up.
Or maybe a good one if that's bringing an organ for transplantSomeone else having a bad day View attachment 445575
Giving medical help to you father who may be having a stroke (waiting on results of that) while he’s confused out of his mind is an awesome experience.
So how’s your day going?
Prayers for JayBird please
We're still praying, glad it wasn't a strokeApparently it was medication related and not a stroke so that’s good
My Hemoglobin was 20 and I have to give blood every 4 days. I am a walking blood bank. Regular people give blood once every 2 months . I have to get my hemoglobin around 14. One bag they take helps 3 people I think is what they said.Does he have a geriatrician on his team? They’re generally good at knowing drug interactions in the elderly, especially in the dementia setting.
Hemochromatosis? If so, stay on top of those donations. The best minister I ever knew died of complications. I still grieve his loss.My Hemoglobin was 20 and I have to give blood every 4 days. No, it doesn’t affect blood clotting, AFAIK. It’s a build-up of excess iron that damages internal organs, in his case the liver. They have patients donate blood frequently to keep the iron level under control. He had the hereditary version.Blood clot?
Yeah the doc said it's not good on the organs. No, it doesn’t affect blood clotting, AFAIK. It’s a build-up of excess iron that damages internal organs, in his case the liver. They have patients donate blood frequently to keep the iron level under control. He had the hereditary version.
I didn’t mean to be a drama llama. It’s a relatively rare condition, and I still flinch when I hear of therapeutic blood donations. Blood clots might be associated with polycythemia vera. Anyway, good for you for donating all these extra blood cells!![]()
