I don't know much about all the testing. It confused me, because they said the blood was cleared, but the markers off could be autoimmune, or still possibly lymphoma. I'd think, in my head, if it was lymphoma, it'd show up in that bloodwork? I'm just going off my thinking, I hope like I said, they're just missing something right now, or an autoimmune would be better than lymphoma. I know how messy my mind is thinking about it, cause saying he's my best friend don't really explain what this guy means to me. Not real manly I know to talk like that, but best friend doesn't cover it. I can't imagine how him and his wife feel, the fear right now.The initial work they did on GVG was exactly that. The test was for "cancer". In her case we were told that due to location it was either cervical or lymphoma. Cervical was unlikely due to previous surgery. They immediately biopsied and did pet scans. Biopsy for type and pet scan for location.
My heart hurts for them. I cannot imagine the strength that would take to even pretend to be strong. I'm certain that you're hurting too. You are all in my heart and on my mind.I don't know much about all the testing. Depends on the markers they are testing for. Generally I think with Lymphoma they go to the Pet Scan to see what lights up.I don't know much about all the testing. Actually if it is lymphoma and it's early, it can be cured. My wife Onco told her she was cured, not in remission, cured.I don't know much about all the testing. Brother had Hodgkin's and was cured back in 1970 at the now defunct and highly criticized experimental hospital that used to be in Oak Ridge. They told him the side effect was sterility. 4 boys later... LolActually if it is lymphoma and it's early, it can be cured. My wife Onco told her she was cured, not in remission, cured.
Any updates ?Some kind of markers are off I, can't remember the words, and its leaning them towards an autoimmune disorder. The blood test they done seems clear for cancer, but the same marker can raise concern for lymphoma if I didn't misunderstand. She is feeling a little better today, and hopefully there's still something not major they haven't found. It's probably going to take a few days of running more tests, they've mainly for the moment been most concerned about no energy, and constant fever.
