Needing prayers.

Lord we lift up the prayers spoken and unspoken. You know our needs even when we struggle to articulate them. We pray lord for all those seeking answers and comfort. You know our deepest desires and you comfort us in our most vulnerable. Give is wisdom and patience in the face of difficulty and adversity. Lord we lift up all these prayers in your name.

Lord we do not pray for victory today, but we pray for this team. We pray you would protect them from harm. Please allow today to be an opportunity for Christian neighbors to fellowship and enjoy the beauty you have made. Lord we lift up those among us who are sick and hurting. May this day provide some relief, however fleeting, from the hurt and discomfort the experience. Lord we are so divided in so many ways, but you remind us to love. I pray Lord that you would help us to see the good in all your children. In your name we pray. Amen

May Tennessee fans be their best. May they be good hosts, charitable and generous to visitors from Alabama. May the visitors team come out on the short end of the score.

My mom is going to need aortic valve replacement (aka stenosis). Not open heart surgery, but still heart surgery. She finds out when, how and other details tomorrow. Please keep her in your prayers
My mom just had this done, was kinda scary going into it, but it has come such a long way. This is almost an outpatient procedure now, she only stayed one night. Depending on the situation there is also A HUGE improvement afterwards... her color is so much better, she looks so much better, it's one of those things where you didn't realize how big a deal it was until you see the improvement. Will keep her in my prayers.

So update… she has a ct scan next Thursday and then will have a catheterization to make sure she’s eligible for the tavr (non open heart) version of the surgery. Thanks everyone for the prayers. Hopefully she qualifies for tavr and things go smoothly
