Needing prayers.

Sorry, been working a lot and just now have been reading up in here (sorry to everyone that responded for not answering). Emily is okay and they are leaving her alone at school. The school is watching her closely and I still have a lot of friends that work in the school system. I still can’t be around that kid, my anger gets the best of me. I am weeding him out, but in the meantime, I’m making it tough on him and I have no regrets for doing so. Saturday morning, his partner called out and I made him work by himself 😈.

You still work at the retirement facility, correct?

Just seems like a huge legal risk to keep a kid with a history of emotional manipulation/bullying around an extremely vulnerable population...
He only works 2 1/2 a day. There is plenty of adult supervision. He’s not doing anything without someone being there. Trust me.

Update II: the catheterization test showed no artery blockages, so going that route would be a very viable route.

HOWEVER…

The artery wasn’t nearly as narrow as they thought. Mom is only 4’11 and just has a small heart. No procedure is needed at this time and she can go ahead with the knee surgery!!! Praise the Lord!

Great to hear. We'll be praying that the knee surgery goes well.

Fantastic! I wish her the best with the knee surgery. It can make such a difference in just living life.

Tell her to request that the Dr. close with glue vs. staples or external stiches.

What's the knee surgery for ? Ligaments ?

God is good!!

I think it’s reconstruction. She never got right from her replacement surgery and they’re going back in
I failed to get significant PT before surgery (surgeon never recommended it.) I’d been Walking Funny the way you do when one leg is wonky, and the muscles on the bad leg were pitiful. If and when I get another (I have a partial, one day I’ll need a total), I’ll be sure to get someone to beat me into shape first.

Bill, hope her surgery goes well. Depending on how long ago the first prosthetic was put in, the surgery may be to simply free up the joint. If so they may put her in a machine that keeps the knee moving. Both of my knees and now my hip have been great. I pray hers does as well as mine. She will need a coach and a partner so be there if you can.

Requesting thoughts for my mom. We do a family zoom meeting every Friday late afternoon - started during the shutdown and never stopped. Anyways, my mom was missing today, and my dad said she was getting x-rays on her foot, as she had been in pain.

LIES! (partially 😄🙄)

1. She had x-rays done the other day, and it's an achilles tendon. This happens to be the same leg as the knee replacement surgery a couple years ago, so not sure if it's in correlation or just having continued issues with that leg.
2. Why she was late to the zoom call...she was getting scans done because she was having chest pain that wouldn't go away. Luckily no blockage or issues with the heart, but not really sure otherwise.

Hopefully they both remain insignificant.
