Friend of mine just texted. His neighbors kid was killed earlier in an accident. Basketball goal fell over on him, 8 years old. He said that family could use some prayers, they're a mess right now. Happened in Kentucky, can't imagine losing a kid, especially that young.

When I was on the PD we had a very similar incident but I believe the kid was just a tad older. Talk about a freak and tragic accident. Prayers, I couldn't imagine that feeling especially with my mini me being the same age.

We knew a family here that several years ago had a freak accident I'd never heard of. They were into travel (kinda locally) go kart racing. They had an enclosed trailer just big enough to haul their go kart and some equipment. The door laid out so you could drive the go kart up it like a ramp, and they had it closed, but not latched. Their youngest walked behind it, and the door fell open crushing him, toddler age. That was so sad, just freak accident.

The guy was let out this morning for arson. Rocky and Amanda’s house was burned down a couple of months ago. I’m sorry I’m a mess right now.
