It’s my understanding that everything was going well, miraculously even. Well I don’t have the details but apparently Haley has suffered a pretty significant set back. I’ll let y’all know when I have better information but please remember Paul’s family, most importantly his beautiful daughter, in your prayers.

My grandfather created this and it can still be viewed today. He had such a great understanding of many things in life and I miss him dearly. I think of this when I hear or read about children going through tough times. Pancreatic cancer took him from us way too early.

And my uncle created this to help people, which it still does to this day. He was also taken way to early by esophageal cancer. Two great people that left legacies on this earth and are greatly missed by our family and many others. They both were always helping others.

Yes it is. Thank you, neither of them ever wanted any recognition and the church put those up in remembrance of them after they passed. The Methodist organization did a video they sent out worldwide of the Children's Garden that my grandfather created as well. The Giving Garden still gives food to anyone who is in need to this day. My wife and I stopped by a few weeks ago and it brings me to tears everytime we visit. My uncle requested his ashes be spread around the church grounds and where the rock is located. My uncle always wore his overalls when working on the garden and that was a pic someone at the church took.

While it's on my mind, our adopted kiddo will be having surgery Monday. They're going to remove the spot, and the lymph nodes in the area. I'm confused by this, but they injected her with some kind of radioactive something to do a CT scan today. To my understanding, it's supposed to light up anywhere that it may be spread. We're praying that despite what they first said, thinking it's already spread, that it's just isolated to the lymph nodes where the spot is. Sorry if that's confusing, I'm trying to explain it the way I understood it.
