Negative Recruiting in Memphis

I wonder what it's like to live in a town where there are no professional sports teams. I guess you just sit around and bag on the "inferior" cities that do. :eek:lol:

Wow. You just blew my mind with that 3-4 year old information. Thanks for clearing that up. How did Cal like it when JP had the game of his life when the Vols beat the #1 Tigers in Memphis?

He liked it fine. Tigers ended up in Final Four. Vols got rolled by Louisville by 20.

I don't remember Memphis making it to the Final 4 in 2008. I remember UNC, KU, and UCLA.....Memphis is not ringing a bell though.

Yeah, a measure that takes into account the performance of professional sports teams and the weather is a great indicator of crime. Do you people just post statistics without taking the first look at the underlying data? If so, this board has members even stupider than I thought.

Just having a little fun with the Memphis posters. He posted that we may view things different if the crime is the right color and I was making a point that people outside of Volnation may have the same opinion of Memphis. I know it wasn't a comparison based on just crime but thought it was funny that someone listed them as the 3rd most miserable city. I don't take things so serious on here but it's hard to convey that across a message board.

Ask Michigan State, Texas, and UCLA if they remember getting their bell rung in 2008. Vacated does not mean it didn't happen.

The point is, mouth breather, JP Prince did not committ to UT. He committed to Arizona. Had "health issues" and left. He did not come to Memphis because Cal did not want, nor need him. He had an All American in CDR, as well as Anderson, and Dozier. Prince would have been a 8 minute a game roll player at best on that team.
