Here's the point, he played that position and produced effectively on both ends of the court playing the 4.

Who is going to do that next year?

Davis jones Vargas is 3, you now also concede miller...so you have Noel's and Cauley, where's the other 2? That's why you're thin at the post.

I never conceded anything. I'll fight to the death!

Trust me, we'll get either Jefferson or Bennet and have 3 guys for 4-5. I'll be willing to admit i was wrong if we dont. But, that's good enough for me, and if Cal will do his best with it.

Ok so who's the 4th post option.

That was the original point I said 3 is too think and you said that's what you had Kay year, but you had 4.

So who's the 4th that'll replace miller? All seriousness 3 posts is manageable its just extremely thin. You had 4 legitimate posts last year.

Noel with 3 blocked shots, a rebound, and a steal in the first 5 minutes of the game.
Poythress with a monstrous baseline drive dunk.
Shabazz has 2 points on a tip-in.

Not that the Jordan game is the best meter, but Noel's going for head fakes and picking up 3 early fouls is something Davis was great at avoiding.

With the thin frontline for UK that's something hell definitely need to improve on, he needs to be on the floor not the bench.

Yeah, anybody expecting another Davis incarnate in Noel is mistaken. No telling what he'll do in order to improve his offensive game, but at this stage, he is far behind Davis.

Wiltjer is a PF. He is 6'9", 240 lbs, unathletic, and slow. He's a great shooter, and has some nice post moves. His defense sucks whether he's guarding threes or fours, so the fact that he can't guard fours isn't really a good argument.
