Netflix

Whats it about?

This guys parents make some kind of deal with the devil where the devil gets the soul of their firstborn son at the age of 21. The devil has his new "Reaper" to start bringing escaped souls back to Hell.

I can't describe the show well - you just have to watch it. More than anything it is a comedy with some drama and action thrown in. The supporting cast is awesome and I'm so glad I decided to start watching this show.

I knew Bret Harrison from Grounded for Life as the dorky neighbor kid who tried to date Lily. He's awesome in the leading role here. Tyler Labine - the guy who plays Sock - is a Jack Black lookalike that is thousands of times funnier than Black will ever be. Rick Gonzalez is the other goofy friend that is cast perfectly - he's the guy who played Spanish in Old School. The guy who plays the devil plays it perfectly - Ray Wise. The other supporting cast are all great too - Andi, the DMV Demon Gladys, Steve & Tony, etc.

I would recommend this show highly to anybody.

netflix needs to add an option to watch all episodes instead of going back to the title screen after every one. for the bigger series, even group them in fives and do it that way.

I watched "The Man from Earth" last night. Pretty interesting. It's about a guy who tries to convince some friends of his that he's a pre-historic caveman whose been alive for about 14,000 years or so. It was written by Jerome Bixby, who I believe has done quite a bit of writing for Star Trek and The Twilight Zone. It's entirely a dialog movie, but I liked it, worth the watch. Anyone else seen it?

Hit up the roasts of Sagget(sp?) and Flava Flave.

Best parts of the night: Jeff Ross, [RIP] Greg Geraldo. Honorable mention to Kat Williams, love that guy. No Homo.

I was told that I neede to watch this one.

Paul McCartney Really is Dead: The Last Testament of George Harrison

Horrible reviews. Anyone seen it?

Russian Revolution in Color was solid. Following the story of the Sailors of Kronstadt was pretty enthralling. There are some audio issues for a couple minutes but thoroughly enjoyable if you can get around it.

I'll check it out. I've been meaning to watch 9th Company, but it's Russian language with subtitles, haven't found a time where I can give it 100% attention. Wonderful movie by all accounts, though.

I just downloaded it for xbox. Most of the good movies even old ones are dvd only, will they ever get added to the stream? Is there a way to find movies other than searching. Like a list of what available.

Go on your PC, and add things to your instant queue. Then fire up netflix on your box and they ones you added will be there.

Much easier to browse on pc, make sure to rate movies you've seen to get recommendations.

Just watched Collapse. Whether or not you think this dude is a nutjob, the movie is still an eye-opener.

If you dont watch Dexter and Arrested Development, you are REALLY missing out.

Three indie movies I enjoyed, both are pretty messed up, were Rampage, Frozen, and The Experiment.

Been watching 'Lie to Me' lately. Pretty darn good show. Tim Roth is awesome.

I have ~8 episodes of Prison break left, so will look for something new soon.

Last night I watched the roast of Flava Flav(sp?) before bed. Kat Williams + Jeff Ross + Greg Geraldo (RIP) is awesome.
