Netflix

The three part documentary abut the Boston Marathon bombing was pretty good. Obviously it probably hit home with me more than most. Phillip Martin, the investigative reporter, kind of pissed me off. Dun Meng knowing his GPS tracking number by heart is great, and probably ended up saving lives.
Also, John MacLellan seems like a good dude

Definitely plan on watching this. I remember being glued to the TV during the hunt.

We enjoyed The Night Agent, then The Diplomats, and also My Grandparents' War.

Am I the only one on here that watches Ragnarok? My wife doesn't care for it.

Where does Arnold rank among 20th century figures, just in terms of what they were able to achieve with what they were given? Not a joke, is he #1? This is the perfect tag line for this. Cue Bill Burr's bit "This is a great man...."

John Mulaneys new stand up special is very good

I thought it was good, but if I'm honest he came across a bit full of himself. I think it's clear a lot of his pre-rehab/divorce persona was an act. I didn't gut bust laugh at this one like his old ones, until the end. Him reading the interview he doesn't remember was pretty funny.

The Night Agent is a really good watch.

I couldn't finish episode 2. I had heard it was good but the dialogue and acting are both so wooden and awful. The two leads have zero chemistry, and the first episode I was laughing during the part where the "secret agents" are scrambling when they realized they were being hunted. They're just spitting out exposition out loud for no reason other than to establish they're secret agents. It was beyond cringe.

Hong Chau is an amazing acctress and she acts as wooden as a bench, like she's reading her lines off a card and just took Benedryl.

Night Agent started out very promising, but we are at episode 7 and its starting to get as corny as Designated Survivor. Not sure why they have to insert the f-word every other sentence and it always seems forced when they do. The Chief of Staff is a terrible actor. We really liked the story but they probably should have wrapped this up at episode 4 or 5.

Actually she's not, she was just Nominated for Best Supporting Actress for The Whale.

She is terrible in this though, but so is pretty every actor.

Netflix dropping some gems the day after they cut me off from sharing my in-laws acct. ITYSL season 3 and a new Arnold show!!! Good thing I can still watch on my phone.
