Anybody else watching the American Gladiators doc? I know ESPN is putting one out simultaneously and I'm wondering how that rates? Netflix has the "unauthorized" version, whatever that means. They're interviewing the people I want to hear from.
I loved this show so much and wish they would bring it back. There was another show like it (Battledome) in the early aughts, and it was every bit as cool but I only remember it airing at like 10 pm on Saturday night. I guess there isn't a market for this anymore, but I'll never understand that. It's WWE except the competition is real.
Without giving too much away the first part focuses on "the creator" John Ferraro and the creation of the show with a few of the gladiators being interviewed. The 2nd half goes into the question some people are probably realizing partway through the first episode and also what happened with the show/gladiators that would participate in the documentary.i have this in my watch lists. I loved American gladiators.
ive seen 1 or 2 bits on the tv at the gym of the 30 for 30 on it that ESPN has done. It look’s really good. Seem like it goes more into the creator & how he treated the athletes. Could be wrong though. Like i said, I’ve only seen a couple of mns of it. I would love to see the whole thing
Witcher has a lot of great actors.. if they could admit they f’d up, bring Henry back and get closer to the books, they could salvage the show. But I doubt they’ll even film season four if they don’t admit how the screwed up
I like it. Big fan of Michael Connelly, so I like how they incorporate multiple books into the storyline. Diverged enough from the movie to keep me guessing. Also good acting from the lead. Hated him in Goliath and love him as Mickey.Lincoln Lawyer season 2 Part 1 was disappointing. The storyline is not interesting and acting is bad.

IDK about this Quarterbacks docuseries. I thought it was gonna be about the position in general. Pretty disappointed to find it follows Mahomes, Cousins, and Mariota for a full season. Cousins is a personality at least, but I can't deal with Mahomes' wife and I guess IDK much about Mariota, but he seems boring
I'd assumed it would be another Netflix attempt to replicate Drive to Survive success. Follow a few qbs day to day life, practice life, in game action. I figured every sport would get one. Full Swing is covering golf. I think they're doing a tennis one on Netflix also.
