Never been to Neyland

Since my student days, I have ben fortunate enough to sit in every area of the stadium. Each holds its unique atmosphere and fun. When I was young and rowdy sat in the student section, then to upper row of South end zone. Through the years, I worked my way around stadium to Alumni side, Sky boxes, and the Tennessee Terrace. Any seat is a good seat and the experience is one you will never forget. Go very early, spend time on the Strip, the bookstore, Vol Navy, and VOL walk b4 going in stadium. Drink it all in, many fans never get the opportunity to actually experience the game day and the stadium atmosphere. GBO.

Night games tend to have the most energy, unless we are playing a major rival. It doesn't matter, any of them are great, though.

3. Watching my wife walk down the aisle.
2. The birth of son, and getting to hold him for the first time.
1. Standing in Neyland on a cool Saturday afternoon watching UT run through the T while singing Rocky Top.

Only thing better than this will be when I get to take my son for the first time and let him experience this greatness.

I suggested he make it to a big game...not a game at Bama or UGA. Learn reading comprehension before you attempt to blast someone. And yeah, I'm the reason the stadium is 1/3 empty against the lesser opponents. :ermm:

Vols should be no higher than 2 on that list. Wife is fine at 3.

My first game was Western Kentucky in 2009. My mothers family is spread out through Maryville, Knoxville and Alcoa. I always watched the games on T.V. and I regret having never gone until then. The first time I saw the Pride of the Southland come down that hill, I have to admit...my eyes leaked a little. Then the Vol Walk, I told Eric Berry to go at'em like a Cruise Missile. He laughed and we slapped hands. When they ran through the "T"... my Tennessee blood felt proud and the goose bumps were enormous. I was at the USCjr game this year, and my eyes leaked again. Gotta get that checked I guess. GO VOLS!!!

We get it Boca. The site of Vols getting ready for battle doesn't excite you. You are more concerned where that if might have been take instead of the emotion it was intended to bring up.
You're also probably the guy tell those around you to sit so you can see. Do us all a favor and stay home.

You were basically saying with your post that the thought of the Vols playing in Neyland gets you as excited as the UT team playing in an opponents stadium.:bad:

I've been to more UT games than I care to count. I've seen the Vols play in Knoxville, Pasadena, B'ham, Tempe, Atlanta, Columbia, Gainesville, Lexington, Nashville, Memphis, Orlando, etc.

So STFU! Also, I'm not that old to tell people to sit down! :hi:

I'm not mad, but how old are you?

I've been going to games since the 70's. I do admit that I don't get wound up as I used to but I always look forward to the games on Saturdays. There have been way too many losses in since the turn of the century for me to get too wound up over a loss, though. But around Thurs of the next week I'm ready to see the team play again.

However, I don't get as fired up to see UT play a directional whipping post (unless it's the 1st game of the season) as I do the big games. Sorry. Judging from the stands, I'm not the only one.

I'm 45 and enjoy messing with people.
It brings me joy. The paint chip thing gave me a big smile.


I once played in a game where we were favored by 35.
I threw up before that game and every other game I played in.

I get just as fired up now as when I played. I admit I'm unusuall but I can't be the only one who feels that way.
