We need To stop giving away free points to good teams on the road. Two straight games we've done that. We better pray Worley stays healthy all year, because this offensive line is several steps behind the SEC

I realize I am an outsider looking in, and I've only seen you play two games this year (OUrs and UGA). But, the most glaring characteristic I notice about this Vols team is you never give up. It's very impressive to watch. And, the fact that you have some very athletic players leads me to believe that this team will be really really good in due time. You should be proud to have a team like that to support.

I'll also add, I'm really looking forward to OUr game with you in Knoxville next season. In fact, I already booked my hotel. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck the rest of the season.

Classy post sooner! It affirms my admittedly orange tinted outlook that the resolve and fight in this team is unrivaled in several years prior. It seems that is garnering us some notice and respect from a lot of programs and analysts out there. I'm proud of this team and the direction we are moving in. I will be patient. Go Vols and see you in Neyland, Sooner

Again, his offense put 32 points on UGA on the road and NEVER gave up. This was accomplished by a senior quarterback and a plethora of kids barely out of high school.

People question a play call when it's a run up the middle on our goal line. The freshman RB fumbles and it's the OC's fault?

The starting QB goes out for a few series with an injury. The second string QB plays horribly. Is that the OC's fault? Why wasn't it Dobbs? Well, Dobbs has not practiced as well as Peterman. Why else would Peterman get the call? Do you think that the coaches do not want to put the best players on the field? Do you think that the coaches ran plays for Peterman that he couldn't execute in practice?

We have posters claiming that youth is just an excuse. The class that CLK recruited had how many kids that made it through their senior year? How bad was CDD's recruiting? How many kids did we sign last February? Come on people. The team is unbelievably YOUNG. Neither CBJ nor his coaches caused that problem. Look at the talent they are getting to fill the void.

Please... just take a step back and look at the facts objectively and without emotion. Do you honestly expect to win every game with a schedule that's one of the most difficult in CFB?

I absolutely couldn't agree with you more on all points, but if your coming on here looking for common sense, I hate to be the one to tell you, but it ain't gonna happen for the most part. The only way some on here can measure progress is in the win / lost column.

It truly makes me sick to see the comments from our less then optimistic fans on here. Trying to not call out specific people and start the childish name calling that this can often turn into.

But I seriously can not take it anymore. What is the purpose of only looking at the negatives coming out of the last two games? We are supposed to get blown out by a ranked team on the road and instead we give them everything they can handle. Play them hard until the clock hits 0...

How can you possibly take negatives away from this game, with our youth and inexperience?

My only thought on this is that you are all just a bunch of non-fans here just to troll. I can not see ANY other scenario that makes any amount of sense.

As a vfl and volnation member we win and lose, live and die together. That is the definition...the point of family. And by doing nothing but berating and degrading our players and coaches. I can think of nothing else then to conclude you people are not members of this family!!!

So keep up your negative BS.. It just shows the rest of us exactly where your loyalty lies...and it is not with us...not with this team...not with this family!!!

I think the reaction of some of our fans is due to the fact that we are so close to pulling off a nice upset and they get a little too let down when we don't. But not to worry, this team is young and will get better every single week.

I saw a Tennessee team that played the number 13 team in the nation hard and down to the wire, they didn't get lucky and they didn't play above themselves they played every bit as good as GA. you play this game 10 times and the Vols would win 5 of them. CMR even commented on that in his post game interview.

This team has come a long way already and still by the end of the year they will be a lot better than they are now.

The thing that really makes me sick, is that even Mark Richt awknoledged after the game how great a job Butch Jones is doing.. Other coaches teams and fans see that we are a sleeping giant about to be awoken.. But yet our fans just want "win now or find another job".. I have Florida fan friends who came up to me after the OU game and told me that Tennessee really impressed them.. This is ridiculous that our fans who see the " process" and the "growth & maturation" in detail and up close and personal still aren't buying into it.. My eyes teared up when I saw Justin Worley run back onto the field.. This kid has shown the world how passionate and how much he is giving for this team, and we STILL have people on these boards Calling for Dobbs to start.. Either be a Vol For LIFE.. Or don't, but don't pretend to be one of us fans who stuck it out when we start winning again..

It does not matter how bad or how great our Vols do, some people will never be happy. Also, this site has a lot offensive coordinators who post on a regular basis.

As of this morning it was ok to to be a vol fan and make your statements. I am pleased to see our vols playing with fervor. The right of volnation to speak their piece is afforded to all to exercise just as you have done. Sick or not it's your right to be that way. So why not others?
