Her numbers have gotten a little better, so if they keep improving they'll let her come home in the next couple of days. She'll have to go for treatment though for 2 weeks, then see how she does.@joevol33, how’s Tiffany today? Has the doctor said anything different than yesterday?
I can't fathom messing with a kid. This may sound weird, especially because of how I joke around. It's not that I haven't seen attractive college age girls, but I view them as kids. It's not like if I see a female my age, or even around 30. I guess cause my oldest is that age, and though she's a grown woman, she's still a kid to me. Probably didn't explain that good, but I just don't get it.The endless wrangle between the big head and the little head, and it obviously applies to both sexes. SMH
I teach dual-enrollment courses as my side gig, and I'm constantly under pressure from those "powers that be" at the colleges to social network with my students. Nope. I think it's stupid. They can check their emails, whether they want to or not. I'm not getting into that social networking $hit, even once they are out of my class. They're kids, as you say. When I coached, I was even apprehensive about the students having my cell number. I think all that can just lead to trouble. My scholastic bowl kids can see me at school or email me. You cannot believe how some boneheaded coaches get on FB and dog their teams after a bad game or say something and set the kids (and parents) off. Many coaches actually have to be told NOT to do that. A lot of school systems have it written into policy. People have no dam judgment these days. That's the key.I can't fathom messing with a kid. Exactly, and it should be common sense these days.I teach dual-enrollment courses as my side gig, and I'm constantly under pressure from those "powers that be" at the colleges to social network with my students. Breaking news, swim coach was fired today. Apparently, she had sent a bra pic to a student, and he kept it. There was a teacher just arrested here the other day for a sexual relationship with a student, a 35 year old female teacher, and a 13 year old boy. These people are ignorant! Careers ruined, life for the one arrested. I hate it about the swim coach, the girls loved her. There wasn't anything happened physically, but that picture did her in. The school heard about it and asked him, and he denied it. When the officer came in,he freaked out and broke, and showed it to them. They couldn't charge her because there was no nudity, but she was fired. I have inside scoops! Daughter's best friend's dad was the officer.
