It's the paradox of work: we work so that we don't have to work.Thankfully it's a better night, so far . I'm daydreaming about where to go, if we get to go
I understand. I am thankful for the overtime, I can pretty much work whenever I want. That said, too much working, and you don't feel like doing much. It's the paradox of work: we work so that we don't have to work.
I worked two jobs for many years (day job plus contractor) so that I would be able to retire one day and work 0 jobs. The nice (can't think of a better term) thing about this is that you get extra money coming in, but/and you don't have the spare time or energy to do anything to spend it on. Win/win in a sort of anti-social way.
How much longer before you can switch to day shift?Man, I had a freaky dream. We had went to visit a church, I went into a store and bought a new bible. There were some young women I sit beside outside on the sidewalk while waiting on Tiffany. They drugged me somehow, and I found Tiffany while feeling drugged, but passed out. I woke up in a bad daze looking for her, went inside the church and noticed a guy following me. I fought 5he daze and made it outside where I found her, we went to the car, but I passed out again. I came to very dazed on our road, and was walking towards home and saw those girls again. I was fighting to not pass out and stay awake, but it felt real, like sleep paralysis, freaked me out. I woke up as I was passing the graveyard, and was getting into a fight with some deer
Not sure. There's two spots open, but two ahead of me that'll probably go in January. One of those may actually quit, he told me that the other night. There are a couple on day shift within a couple of years of retirement, so worse case maybe not too long. How much longer before you can switch to day shift?
Cereal question.
Well, I know you’re the Energizer Bunny, but sometimes I get a bit freaked about all the driving you sometimes do after an overnight shift and little or no sleep. Not sure.
