True...we will also be losing Ralph Williams too, John Brown may not qualify as well, so we still have plenty of room for the best guys we still have a shot at.

Im sorry but we are going to have to show some people to the door.That sucks becouse these guys wanted to be a vols. I still think Stanley is comming.

Williams changed his mind......last I heard he told the coaches Sunday night he will be a Vol........let's hope he doesnt' change his mind tomorrow.......

I heard that too...not sure though.

So long as Rogers, Stone sign I will be happy, if we get Ambles or Robinson I will jump for joy.

Ya ll are right this prolly means we lost Stanley, but on the other hand it may just mean we are for sure losing Ralph Williams and the coaching staff hadn't given up on that until tonight?!

I understand, but some folks on here think he has potential. I have never seen him play. Post did not mean to be aggressive, not at all. I do not think we are that bad with numbers at the DE and LB positions.

Not sure that is our most pressing need. If it comes down to it, I would hope Glass got the shot over another LB or DE with the same or less status.. JMO

it's a coin=flip on those guys..... and Stanley too.......I'd be shocked if we land Stanley.......we definitely need to sign 30 guys thought, IMO....

Why are we taking a pledge from this guy? We should wait and see what happens tomorrow I think this is a bad move.

The worst part if we lose Stanley is we will lose immediate help. I don't think Crump will be much help for a year or 2.

Honestly, we have alot of talented, young LB's.....barring crazy injuries like last year, and we are fine, IMO.......

LB Savion Frazier, Jarrod Askew, Robert Nelson
LB Nick Reviez, Herman Lathers, Nigel Mitchell-Thornton
LB Thompson, Greg King, Josh Hawkins

Plus the guys coming in.........so if we run a 4-3 defense, we really don't need help next year, IMO.......

Nah...with the soon to be departure of Stanley and probably Williams too, we need able bodies at the LB position, were not in on any other LB's either.

John Brown may not qualify, so we will have plenty of room to finish strong with the top of our board.

i disagree. take the sure thing if you think he can play for you. if not then dont recruit him at all. I have seen the we will wait to see if we get so and so and that backfires because plan a,b,c all pick other schools then you are left with nothing but a scholarship to hand to one of your walkons for a year.

What more than likely went down is Stanley told the staff that he was going to USC, so the staff called Crump and ask if he still wanted to be a Vol...it seems that Williams is gone but I've heard different recently.

Not saying that this happened but it is probably how it went down, Stanley/Williams seems highly unlikely right now.
