For next to nothing, the New England Patriots picked up Albert Haynesworth and Chad Ochocinco in trades. Both could be big improvements for the Pats or they could just as easily be cut. it depends on if they truly want to play. Great moves by the Pats front office.

They had a "killer" day by trading for a disgruntled, overweight and unmotivated defensive tackle and a diva receiver?

Jealous Titan fan?

What has Haynesworth done since he left that would make anyone jealous?

Are any pats fans on here even from the northeast? Or are they all bandwagoners?

Why would I be jealous? I saw first hand what Albert is all about for many years. He had only one dominate year and that was when he was playing for a new contract. Not to mention he has never played a full 16 game season and has chronic knee problems. He will never be the same player again now that he has his money.

Not to mention you don't have Jim Washburn either....

I'm a Titans fan and Haynesworth was still a great pickup. You're kidding yourself if you think he's not worth a 5th-round pick. Knowing the Pats, I'm sure Ocho will flourish there too.

Ocho probably will be, but I'm willing to bet that even Belichick will not motivate him to being a Pro Bowl type player again. He has his money and nothing else matters now.

Doesn't change the fact that when he was in a Titans uniform he was lazy as hell until he wanted to get paid. He wasn't worth the money in Tennessee. If Belicheck gets him to the pro bowl, good for him.

Haynesworth would have probably been trash for 31 other teams. However, the Patriots will probably be a pretty good fit. I doubt it will be the 2008 Haynesworth, though.

I'm confused by your thread pimping. They could be be improvements or they could be cut?

Belichek is testing his reputation as a guy who can turn troubled players back into productive players but both trades could pay off in a big way.

Yesterday when discussing Bush to Miami someone said the stats don't lie, let's look at these two guys stats
Chad O: 67 receptions, 831 yards, 4 TDs
Haynesworth: 13 tackles, 2.5 sacks.
