With that said, if this was my team I would be pissed. A team that had a losing record and the talent they have should be pissed for excellence; not having ice cream socials or taking funny photo shoots. It's embarrassing to the fanbase.

Honestly you guys defending this would be pissed if this was dobbs, Hurd, and company doing this. We would be the laughing stock of the sec and would be embarrassing.

No? Why would I care what other people said about us?

What would be fantastic is to show that our players are friends and know how to have fun and can also go out there and kick the snot out of the competition.

I couldn't care less about what other people say. They're only showing the ignorance in their views.

To the contrary, I think if UT did it, at least some of the ones complaining about it would claim that it's just a joke and anyone complaining just doesn't "get it".

Look, they are jokes, but they're just really misplaced and stupid IMHO. Put it this way.....how would you feel if Dobbs, Hurd, JRM, Barnett, Sutton and Maggitt did this ish when we revealed our new uniforms this year? I can guarantee you the guys like Sapp, Irvin, Reed and Lewis, who helped put Miami on the college football map back in the day ain't cool with this mess.

BS....I'd be thinking what the hell and be rightfully embarrassed as hell for our program. You think Butch Jones or anybody else in that complex would allow this crap for one split second? Hell no.....nor should they.

We've had videos that aired on the jumbotron that are equally funny/embarrassing. Players doing stupid dances, etc. It's just guys acting funny for the sake of acting funny.

That's great and all, but that's just you. You're crazy if don't think there would be a sizable amount of people here defending it and telling people like you that you don't "get it."

As I said, a few years back when the team posed shirtless, a ton of people here loved it.

I'm not sure why anyone should care what Hookers, Blow, Ed Reed, and Murder think about this. Are they worried that the photos might give "The U" a bad image?

Say what you will about those thugs, I don't disagree in that regard. But you can't deny that they made that program into a dominant nationally relevant power. And they did it by saying "bring what you got, we're still gonna kick your ass"....now, it's appears these effeminate guys are saying "look at my ass and imagine you can do with it"....it's an embarrassment to the program and can't possibly be helping their image unless they're hoping to attract more Interior Decorating majors to the team.

No, but I do think they were an incredibly bad idea. Here's a question for you....do you think schools like FSU and Florida might just negatively recruit vs Miami with these pictures or a reference to them? Do you think they might ask some young men if they're interested in playing for a Miami team that evidently has no problem promoting that culture?
