No, but I do think they were an incredibly bad idea. Here's a question for you....do you think schools like FSU and Florida might just negatively recruit vs Miami with these pictures or a reference to them? Do you think they might ask some young men if they're interested in playing for a Miami team that evidently has no problem promoting that culture?

Holy crap son, you are WAY overreacting to this. It's laughable if you think this plays into any recruiting advantage FSU or UF would have over Miami.

Hide and watch brother. It's laughable that you don't think other coaches will point to those pics and attempt to negatively recruit with them, Champ. FSU and Florida already have better programs and perhaps a Miami culture that allows pictures like these to go public is part of the problem. How seriously do they take their football image at Miami?

Also, would love to hear the opinions of previous great Miami players who built the program. I seriously doubt they're digging it.

You really think they are promoting a "culture" with these pictures? It is nothing more than some college kids effing around. I am pretty sure no recruits are worried about getting their ish pushed in if they go to Miami because of these pictures.

Let's hear your negative recruiting pitch. And of course dudes in their 40s will have a different take on this than 17 year old kids that have grown up in a completely different culture.

Which is why they would have any advantage already, and these pics will have absolutely no affect whatsoever.

When teams use those pictures on the poster board on the sidelines..they need to incorporate these Miami photos.

Clearly why Dools couldn't recruit. Kiffin really screwed him with these pictures.

"Son, do you really want to go to a school where a coach was doing it with his predecessor? Check volnation, even UT fans say it happened." Sound about right KB?

Nice intellectual honesty there hoss. Are really equating pictures of our guys after a workout with guys posing in as gay men? Wow. Look, we disagree. You guys think there's nothing to it, fine. I think opposing coaches, who are literally looking for any possible edge or issue available to them, will use these pics as a way to put doubt in a player's mind.

Nice faux outrage on your end. If this really gets you this upset, you clearly need to re-evaluate things.

And as far as considering what's "gay", I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on what's interpreted as "gay". IMHO, sweaty, oiled up, muscled shirtless guys are probably a lot more appealing to gay men then fat, fully clothed linemen in silly poses. But since you're building your own narrative, I'll assume that's what you'd dig if you were gay.

But hey, to each their own.

Zero "outrage" on this end. And we do disagree on what constitutes a "gay" picture.....a football team after "midnight workouts" raising their fists in solidarity and brotherhood after practicing together to make the team better.....or a guy showing his ass to the camera with a suggestive grin on his face as he looks back over his shoulder ..... and 2 guys rubbing against one another with the guy in back holding the guy in front's "breasts"?? To each his own indeed.

As I said, you're looking into exactly what you want to see. Also, that first picture isn't post workout, that was an actual photoshoot.

And zero outrage.....yeah sure buddy.

The outrage is coming from you chief. I'm just pointing out that is was a poor decision that will be exploited by other coaches competing for recruits. Youve taken such great offense to that, to the point that you're attempting to somehow equate those pictures to the blantantly "gay" Miami pics. Nice job. Heading back on over to the football forum now to discuss football....not football players at Miami who, for some reason, thought it was a great idea to portray themselves as gay.

Yes, walking away is probably a good idea so you can stop making a fool of yourself.

KB's rationale:

Bunch of big fat guys in football gear clearly goofing around in a self-deprecating fashion = super gay

Bunch of toned, sweaty, shirtless dudes flexing and looking seriously intense = straightest thing ever

Maybe if we had more gay players, there wouldn't be as many rape cases.

Wait nevermind, homophobes think gay people are more likely to rape than straight people
