New night shift thread

Happy Holidays fellers!!! Hope everyone is fat and happy! :) On a side note, my 70 year dad and my younger brother drove to Knoxville last night on their way to Lexington. They stopped to see my other brothers and sisters who all live in Knoxvegas. I hope to heck that we win this week. Every game my Dad goes to could be his last. Go Vawls win this freakin game. :clapping:

Actual cool story bro. I know a lot of people don't really care about tomorrow's game, but I'll be super bummed if we don't play well and whip Kentucky's ass.

Unless Dobbs goes from SuperGeek to Superfreak...I sadly think we could lose this game. So far I have to agree with Goat, Dobbs is garbage.

I tend to agree on Dobbs. I have yet to see any of this so called "promise" that some swear by.

He's got good wheels and a good arm. Unfortunately, he wasn't even close to being ready to play mentaly. He needed a RS year more than any of the other QB's, imo. Just wasn't possible for him to get what he needed this year with key injuries.

Yep. I hope he hasn't been irreparably damaged by this.

Dobbs looked pretty decent tonight. Finally got some throwing TD's and got himself some nice rushing yards and a TD. The pick looked ugly, but it looked like Johnson gave up on his route once contact was made. Still probably not a throw he should have made. But altogether, I'll call it a successful outing for the young man. Should be a very interesting QB battle next season. Also, great to see Devrin and Croom make some big plays. Hate that Croom got injured, though. That could really harm his development with the new studs we've got coming in at WR.

And how 'bout Corey Miller setting a new record for single game sacks? That's pretty unbelievable considering UT was the home of the Minister of Defense.

I have to say I hope not. One of the things I can fault Butch with this year is him not picking a QB way before the season started and sticking with them. This is why I think Worley had a somewhat faltering start. Had the QB situation been solved earlier, I think it would have been a major advantage going into Florida especially.

No matter who starts next year, I hope CBJ picks one and sticks with him.

So anyway, tonight's titillating episode finds the bigfeet crew in China. Their first eyewitness, a tender young chap by the name of Wong Dong. Totally not making this up.

Just found out he was playing last week and this week with a broken thumb. Say what you want about his accuracy problems, but that is a tough kid. Glad he got to have a little taste of success tonight.

I'm glad he had a tad bit of success too, but I hope to hell our future isn't in his hands. We are doomed if so.
