New York City

Paris is ****, however the only large cities I have been to that to me would be worth living in has been Europe i.e. Vienna, Zurich, etc.
Only saw Zurich around the train station but it was nice. I really enjoyed Innsbruck the best but I guess that isn’t really a “large city”. Hope to get to Vienna some day. Next trip will probably be Hamburg, Oslo, and Gothenburg

Yeah its beautiful and clean and the people are nice although it's been a while since I've been. I always tell people Paris is kind of cool to see once meaning the historic sites, but its a **** hole. Go to the alps, it's awesome. Liechtenstein is kind of cool to visit but its barely a country.

It's the people. My significant other's parents live in FL, all the NY and NJ people are swamping them.... everyone is like... go back.
Can’t find the video on YouTube (probably copyright issues) but did you see the parody Commerical Nate Bargatze did in his Nashville Christmas Special last week? It starts off as a Nashville tourism ad; but he keeps adding in more and more admonitions to go ahead and visit; but DON’T MOVE HERE” 😂

I May or may not have visited Liechtenstein, the train from Zurich to Innsbruck (incredibly beautiful route btw) was supposed to go through the very corner for a couple of minutes but never could verify on my GPS. If so, I was probably there less than 2 minutes 😂
I do love Switzerland. The trains were probably the best I have ever ridden. Wish it weren’t so darn expensive to visit though.

Yeah. Going to see sights especially historic ones is completely different than saying something is nice, ran well, etc. I would recommend people visit Paris for a few hours... don't get lost and get the hell out. 😂

If I were picking places that would be good places or good places to live... this probably isn't a bad map to start with and I don't vote. 😂

But man, have you ever tried to understand the Swiss speaking when they use their own dialect of German? Good grief but that is strange 😳

Propaganda aside Chicago is a great city, I highly suggest going there when it's not freezing. I went in August 2023 near my birthday and absolutely loved it

Chi Town is awesome. Last time I went there was on a business trip in 2012 during the same week ST. Patrick's Day was happening. My co-workers and I couldn't wait for conferences to be over so we could partake in festivities. There was this one restaurant called seven on heaven that had some of the best Cajun cuisine I've ever tasted. I probably gained 10 pounds on that trip eating a deep dish pizza every other night too. We must have bar hopped to 10 different spots on the evening of St. Pat's. Can't wait to go back in the future.

I lived about 60 minutes from Frankfurt for 2 years and my German never was good at all. Luckily it was a big concentration of U.S. people there, all the Germans knew English at least a little.

Makes sense, not everyone wants to live in a big city and I enjoyed living in smaller places too. That doesn't necessarily mean they suck though

The places don't suck, the people do. It's not the geographical area, generally speaking.

It's the people.

Like I said, jump across the Lake to Vermont from NY ... although it's pretty... the people completely suck.
