A 65-year-old New York City woman was seen on video being chased, dragged and punched during an attempted robbery in broad daylight last week, authorities said.

The violent attack happened in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene neighborhood just before 5 p.m. on Sept. 28, the NYPD said. The woman is seen on surveillance video walking near the intersection of St. Edwards Street and Willoughby Avenue near Fort Greene Park when a man on a bicycle approaches her from behind.

Homeless man is charged with Killing Nurse in Times Square as it's revealed he was FREED on groping charge last month

• The murder charges was added to the assault, robbery charges Jermaine Foster initially faced before she was taken off life support Saturday night
• As Foster fled, he knocked down Maria Ambrocio, 58, who suffered head trauma and was taken to nearby Bellevue Hospital in critical condition
• Foster had been released on a groping charge just the month before, and was held briefly at the same hospital where Ambrocio later died

A homeless mugging suspect appeared in court Sunday to be arraigned on murder charges over the death of a cancer nurse.

Jermaine Foster, 26, was fleeing a robbery when he barreled into Maria Ambrocio in Times Square, knocking her to the ground, on October 8. Two days later, Foster's charges were upgraded from felony assault to murder after Ambrocio's family agreed to switch off her life support.

Foster had been freed on a groping charge just one month before he caused the death of Ambrocio, a 58-year-old oncology nurse from Bayonne in New Jersey.

On Sunday, he appeared before a judge in Manhattan Criminal Court in a blue t-shirt along with a protective face mask, where he was formally charged with murder, felony assault and robbery.
