What happens in California is important because the crazies try to expand it to other states or they use taxes from people in other states to pay for it.

Then the burden is on the citizens where they move to not let the CA refugees drive local legislation. Get out and vote.

Same logic could be applied to Alabama or Mississippi being dead last in education and almost everything else and still voting red

Might want to look at the demographics of blue voters in thise states. Suspect they go a long way towards dropping those rankings.
