If we had 40 former 5* recruits on the squad we'd be pretty good. That'd be 10/year. If we could do a deal like that for every 5* I'd take both every time.

Doesn't that mean DaRick is a 7 star player? That is awesome! Fulmer never did that...except for Heath/Benji, Joey/Jermaine, and Brooks/ Hardegree.

According to Lord Vader, it's crazy to think we could get anything more than a 3* commitment this early. Although USC, LSU, Michigan State, Alabama, Texas, Clemson, Florida, Oklahoma, Washington, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Florida State, Oklahoma State, Auburn, Georgia, Nebraska, KENTUCKY, and North Carolina all have at least one 4* already committed (per Rivals).

We are just supposed to assume this unproven coaching staff (based on SEC win total) knows what they're doing. The same thing we were supposed to believe when Phil Fulmer was at the helm. Take character and orange-running blood over star ratings and 40 times and stay right in the middle of the pack in the SEC.

The reasons we will have problems recruiting are less problems wit hthe coaching staff and more problems with our situation. We are on our third coach in as many years and UT is a lot harder sell than it was in years past.

Hope they reel in some of those of four star offensive lineman. Say Richardson, Debell, and Kelly. Hutson will do too. Then top off the offense line in January with Kouandjio. Dreaming?
