I went to the game there where McFadden ran all over us. I would really like to go into their house and throat punch and curb stomp them.... by fiddy.

Actually it is a beautiful campus. Looks ike UT would if it were located in the Smokies.

I've watched Arkansas a few times this year and love their QB. They can't snap the ball to save their life. QB always looks uncomfortable. I could see Banks putting our D in great positions to cause multiple turnovers
Wait till their center gets lined up directly in front of Big O, Eason, Norman-Lott, Simmons, Moi etc. Better bring his dinner cause he looking at an all night fight.

I’d be more nervous about this game if it was this Saturday but we get an extra week to heal and prepare. That QB they have looked legit in their first game anyway. Not sure how he’s looked since. This kind of feels like a potential trap game but I like how tough our team is.
I agree, if it were this week I’d be concerned. Fayetteville will definitely be rocking w/ a night game, but just like we saw this past weekend, Defense and the running game travels. Nico’s first 2 starts are SEC road night games. That’s gonna help I think when we head to Athens for a potential night game.

Piggies are 1-11 against TAMU since 2012, I don't see them getting a W Saturday. The Barn with 5 turnovers gifted the Piggies a W, A&M will not be so generous.

Piggies are 36 in AP so a W probably does not get them in T25.

So obviously we have a week off to regroup, but next up is at Arkansas. I know their QB Taylon Green has been solid but unfamiliar with what their defense looks like.

I assume Tennessee will shut down the between the tackles run game so our defense needs to stay sharp on the quick passes and QB run.

Is their defense closer to NC State or Oklahoma? If we get by this the only other true road games are Georgia and Vandy.

Arkansas has a tough game against Texas A&M this weekend.

Getting healthy on the Oline is all that matters. Having both starting Tackles out made that game way closer than it should have been and it wasn't anywhere near close. The choice to throttle back and let the defense close out the game was genius because it means we have less on tape for opponents to prepare for. But anyone paying attention might have noticed what happens when you stack the box on us.... Those deep shots to Thornton, Bru and Squirrel made them back off and opened up the run again.

It's been said many times and proven. The only way to stop UT's offense is to be able to play a light box on every down. Only UGA has been able to do it on a regular basis and the only teams we face that have the talent level to try it are UGA and Bama. Even those teams are a bit down on secondary talent this year so its gonna be a tall task. Arkansas has no hope of pulling it off.
Our coach will never admit it, i think his main objective was to keep Nico upright and healthy. He had 2 fumbles on dropbacks in the first half. He put the game on his defense and ran the ball. Sampson and Bishop were warriors in the 2nd half. They took some shots and kept coming back for more. Oklahoma D will strike opponents hard. Really physical game with some missle shots being delivered. That hit on the Oklahoma RB on the sideline was brutal. Both defenses were laying the wood. Our coach was looking down the road and without Nico our goals would be hard to accomplish. Playoffs……….we talking about playoffs baby!

God I remember that game, the punt return was brutal and I still see the highlight from time to time… I’m so glad we’re not the ones getting destroyed in prime time anymore lol

The Razorbacks will be going to aTm next weekend. They will get beat up, win or lose, next weekend, and have a short time to prepare for the Vols. CJH will have 2 weeks to get the team ready and this will be the coming out party for Nico.
