No, just being honest.
UT reduced the capacity of TBA and created a better environment. No one seems to care that the capacity is now less than Rupp....which was a huge deal when it was being built.
I was sitting in the Swamp 2 years ago and the when the attendance was announced some UT fans around me laughed and were making fun of UF (although no UF fans were around) by saying, "nice crowd" etc.....never mind UT was getting their ass kicked on the field.
How stupid of a thought process is that? I would rather have atmosphere than capacity. Would you rather drive a school bus or Ferrari?
Yeah it did. Bama counts seating capacity, or the number of tix that can be sold. UT counts stadium capacity, which includes media, staff, etc. Bryant-Denny actually has more available seats than Neyland by a few hundred.

I don't understand any stadium expansion within our conference. Look at the numbers for major college football attendance. They are down practically across the board. A&M is going to look foolish for doing this within a decade of its completion. All stadiums will begin downsizing and moving to chair backs and luxury seats, like the NFL, before long. The age of the giant stadium is coming to close.
You may have something here. A few months ago I was bored and looked on UT 's site about season fix. Well you can click on each section and count the total seats in each section. I came up with 96 or 98k. Now that doesn't count the skyboxes and the terrace area was tricky to count.
