Neyland Stadium Renovations

I've been a season ticket holder for over 45 years. I will be a season ticket holder next year, too (I hope/plan). I have no problem with a hot dog at a ball game. If I want a gourmet meal it will not come from a concession. One change I would like to see is the west upper deck returned to football fans and not social networking. Serving beer would be good but it simply won't happen. Therefore, get out of my way ... GO BIG ORANGE!

Put in a gentlemans club and massage parlor below the bleachers. And a walking escalator from the boat docks to the stadium.

Have the PA announce a discount on food and drinks if the fans exceed a certain db level when the Vols are on Defense.

Having student tickets be "first come, first serve" would greatly enhance the quality of the student section.

Other than that, it would be nice to be able to send a text.

Some of us begged for that when I was there (01-05).

Nothing better than finally getting good seats, getting there early and being ready for the game...only to have 7 douche bags trying to squeeze into their bro's 2 seats.

Would make a huge difference.

I'm tired of eating HOTDOGS!!!

We have to walk ALL the way UP the ramps to the top.

Don't want t walk ALL the way down to the Very bottom to find a BURGER!!!

Serve Burgers everywhere!

I'm ******* TIRED OF HOTDOGS AT THE GAME!!!

I mean...when I'm walking to the stadium and I remember or get excited about grabbing food during the game...my head drops and I remember...hotdogs.

It's a very sobering reminder of the state of Tennessee football.

After a while I came to the conclusion of 1. be walking back to AG campus after a loss and 2. All after eating nothing but ****** Hotdogs and skittles.

Come on UT! Better food!!!!

man up. i would starve to go to a game.

8th) - Start accepting debit cards at the concession stands!! Ridiculous that I can use it at Chattanooga Mocs and Lookouts games but not at Neyland frickin' Stadium!!!

they won't be able to do that until the WiFi problem is settled. Tenn said it will be a 5mil project to get it where it needs to be. Hopefully in a couple of yrs. Ill end with, does the mocs hold over a 100000 people? Exactly! (all this was discussed on the ainge show.

Ohio State accepts credit cards at their concession stands. It's just part of the deal now.

Money is the ONLY thing keeping me from season tickets. I still go to the cheaper games as often as possible

I know it's a SEC thing, but I'd like to see beer sold. Hell, most people come in half lit anyway and they sneak in their liquor bottles or flask.

I'd also like to request that a lot of UT fans go from morbid obesity to just plain obesity. That would make the seats much more comfortable.

Lol, that is funny right there. I agree about selling beer. It would certainly increase stadium concession revenues. Also, I understand those that aren't interested in using Wi-Fi during a game, but this is 2013. If you really want to start attracting the younger generations to games and thus converting them to long-term season ticket holders, we have to upgrade our technological capabilities. This is practically expected by most at this point.

Super fast wifi. I know that i cannot go more than an hour without sending an inane text to someone letting them know what I am doing or seeing at that exact moment in life. Oh and longer troughs in the bathrooms, the more shoulder to shoulder the merrier. GBO.

Then why are you in this thread?

This is obviously for people that GO to games and its obvious you don't.

What do you care abot renovations?

And...you should be grateful of people that go to games and give to the university through donations and seasons tix and you ought to hope we are being catered to so we come back.

So eehh!

p.s. the reason i got on the thread is that i thought you were gonna tell us about some new renovations not open up a cry session about what we don't have.

Thank you. It's the same sh&t before every season isn't it. Fans whining about why they can't be more comfortable in Neyland Stadium. Why they don't go to games. Why they want to sit there the whole time. Mmmmkaayyyy. Just stay home if you don't like it. Or go watch the game in in a downtown venue or restaurant. Maybe then you'll get your seared tuna steak salad with crispy thai noodles and diet fresca on ice in a salt rimmed glass just like you like it. Visa, Amex, MC, and Discover cards are all warmly welcomed for you there as well.

from a discussion i have had with general neyland's son neither the general or his wife were religious. we can only hope they believed in jesus and god. the afterlife is more important overall than this life though i know some on here will disagree but let's not get into that. GO VOLS!!

Considering he basically created the Vol Radio network to bring the game to those not in the stands, I'd say he'd welcome the enhancements.

I'm ok with not everyone around me being sloshed. At least with the airplane bottles they can only bring in so much and then they run out. You sell beer and they're going to keep going.

I already get season tickets but eliminating the large donations required would help.

I
m thinking that this thread is NOT serious but just people having fun, but not sure????

Tennessee has a 2 million dollar reserve and currently has put on hold all changes to Neyland due to lack of funding.

Yet this thread is talking about doing things that costs Tennessee money OR eliminates processes by which they get revenue.

How can you have things that you want without supporting the program financially?? Day by day I understand the Tennessee fanbase less and less.

I think the only reason the donation was brought up is because its part of the price point value which inevitably is the first thing somebody looks at in their buying decision. It's more about what would be good vs what is really feasible. Although I think there's some merit to upgrading the in stadium experience to actually increase revenue.

Hart needs to spend some time at Cowboys Stadium and make notes. HDTVs everywhere. Great cell coverage. (Now, AT&T Stadium, so you can bet the cell cell coverage will be top notch.) We don't however, need the jumbotron over the field.

Last year at the Mizzo game I spoke to some of the fans, and they said a bit surprised we didn't sell beer because they do. So I wonder what the SEC will say?
