Niners this season are the exception and not the rule, west coast teams going to the east coast have always had a terrible record regardless of matchup.

This is because the west coast teams have predominantly sucked the last decade. East coast teams have had little trouble going west and winning. That tells me it has more to do with the teams than the distance to travel.

I think the running into the kicker penalty is gay. I understand the roughing call. But running in to? come on man.

I have a feeling that the 49ers are gonna pick one of those short routes that Manning keeps instinctively dumping the ball too.

That drive came out of no where. The 49ers moved the ball down the field like the Colts w/Manning.

The more I'm watching this...I think the 49ers could beat the ravens

...but i don't think they'd beat the pats

Both of these teams will be a very difficult match-up for the Pats. The Pats do not bode well against very aggressive and physical teams, and these two are two of the best when it comes to that style of play -- even more so than the Ravens. The Pats barely survived today against a similar-style team. Brady won, but with a 57.5 qb rating to go with his two picks.

but even the teams that have been good periodically like seattle san diego and arizona have still had trouble. Going east is tougher than going west.
