Thought I would start a thread where we can track and comment on all of the new NFL coaching changes for 2014 season.

I'll start off with Houston Texan's open HC position:
Lovie Smith got first interview with Texans, they are also rumored to be pursing Texas A&M's Head Coach Kevin Sumlin, Penn St.'s Bill O'Brian, and SD Chargers OC Kevin Whisenhunt.

Whisenhunt would be a good hire here. Has ties to Nashville.

Kubiak, McDaniels, possibly Jason Garrett and Chad Morris, maybe even Jeremy Bates.

Can't believe I forgot about Hue Jackson. Might be my first call.

Lovie with Jackson as OC would be awesome on paper.

Kubiak would be my first choice.

Although I wonder how well a college coordinator would do as an OC in the NFL. Someone like Doug Nussmeier from Alabama.

We will probably have the same process as when Munchack was hired. Wait until the last possible to begin looking, which leaves us with the market's leftovers and staff members, ie Palmer and Munch and Jerry ****ing Grey.

Wouldn't shock me to see Snyder try to make a splash and make Chad Morris HC, especially with Chip Kelly in the division.

Maybe Darrel Bevell or Greg Roman? Either way it's gotta be someone who can get improvement from RG3.

If I had Chip Kelly in my division, I'd hire David Shaw. He seems to do good against Chip and Oregon.

Lions expected to get rid of Jim Schwartz (Penn State's O'Brien is reported as a possible candidate)


Vikings also expected to make a coaching change (O'Brien and James Franklin reported as possible candidates of interest for the team).

4 games in expected it to be Schiano, but now I'm not so sure. He somewhat righted that ship with Glennon.

Jim Shwartz
Shanahan

50/50 chance
Greg Schiano
Raiders Coach



Less than 50% chance of getting fired

Tom Coughlin
Rex Ryan
Titans Head Coach

I'm guessing not that many coaches will actually get
Fired. Probably 4
