NFL Combine.............

300 athletes,400 press passes per ESPN.

Let's see. The NFL has 32 teams, consider newspaper reporters, tv reporters, radio reporters, photogs (both video and still), a mix of producers and audio technicians from all those cities, as well as ESPN, The NFL Network, Sportsouth, FSN, the local crews and a handful of crews from the former colleges, 400 actually seems kind of low to me.

Cottam went yesterday (I think). Getting hounded about being injury prone, I read somewhere that he was projected as the number 5 TE. Anywhere from a 2nd-5th rounder.

I read reports that Darren McFadden may go Randy Moss and drop way down in the draft. Folks are questioning his character because of a couple off-field issues.

Falcons need a qb, Dallas will probably trade up and get DMAC. I think the Dolphins end up taking a qb when its all said and done to. Ryan, Brohm and the Flako (sp) will make alot of money this year.

Their strategy will depend heavily on if the Hall trade goes through and gives them an extra 1st rounder....I agree the Falcons need QB but you take the best player with #3 overall then try to get a QB at #31 overall IMO(assuming they do trade with the Giants)

They will take Ryan or Brohm whichever one is there. DMAC will be a Cowboy or Jet.

Wonder if Miami will keep the top pick or trade it away. If they don't trade it off I say they take Ryan.

The quality of the qbs isn't that great this year. If I'm choosing between Ryan at QB or getting Dorsey, assuming he's available, I'd be right beside Goodell when he says "the falcons are now on the clock" to choose Dorsey.

I'm willing to bet the Cowboys will go with Hawg #2 in Felix Jones.

They can't fit McFadden in under the cap.

McFadden runs upright. He kind of reminds me of a much, much better version of Chris Brown (from Colorado/Titans). I wonder if he might be a bit injury prone in the NFL. Still, I don't see him falling as low as the oft-injured Adrian Peterson did (7 or 8 overall, I believe). He'll be a top 5 pick.

I think Ryan will probably be the only QB to be drafted in the Top 10, and I think he's highly overrated. This is an atrocious class for quality QB's.

I'm just now finishing reading this thread. I agree 100% with your assessment.

The quality of QBs in this year's draft is still better than the year of Alex Smith and Aaron Rodgers.
