NFL Game Thread

Dallas has been their own worst enemy today. Multiple interceptions, allowed a kickoff return for a td, and a dropped punt to top it off.

Just curious, how many of these teams have you watched play the last few weeks? Or are we just going based on records here?

I have watched every Denver game. Watched a few of the Giants, Eagles, Bills and Jets. From what I have seen, none of those teams stand much of a chance. There is a possibility that the Jets could pull an upset at home, but thats about it.

Just curious, what team do you honestly think can beat them?

Dude it's the NFL. I wouldn't be shocked if the Giants beat them in MetLife. They still have to play the Dolphins twice, the Broncos, Jets, and Eagles. They could lose any one of those games. All I'm really concerned with is getting home field advantage in the playoffs.

I think it puts unnecessary pressure on a team if they go in to the playoffs undefeated.

heartbreaking ending to Steve Smith's career (assuming he does indeed hang up the cleats now). Always been one of my faves. So much fight and spunk for a guy his size, and he always came to play his hardest every game. Such a shame it will most likely end this way.

I agree that the NFC isn't looking good at the moment. I can't agree with Rodgers being overrated. He's a top 5 QB with a ring.

The No Fly Zone made him look as pedestrian as a back up rookie. That was damm impressive.

Manning looked like his old self with the exception of throwing a TD.

Damn, just saw these stats:

Rodgers is 2-5 in playoffs since sb win, 3-9 in primetime games, and hasn't won a road game against a winning % team since 2012

But the media is falling over themselves trying to anoint him the GOAT.

It's crazy to think that he would be 1-6 in the playoffs if that weird Dez Bryant catch call went the other way.

I was definitely on board with all the Rodgers talk but looking at these numbers, he's not nearly as dominant as I perceived him to be.

Hold up. The stats I posted (copied from elsewhere) are inaccurate.

He's 2-4 in the playoffs, not 2-5

Something else to consider is that he hasn't had an elite cast around him. The defense has been mediocre to middle of the road most of Rodgers career. Not having a playmaker like Jordy Nelson is hurting the offense this year.
