NFL Game Thread

Something else to consider is that he hasn't had an elite cast around him. The defense has been mediocre to middle of the road most of Rodgers career. Not having a playmaker like Jordy Nelson is hurting the offense this year.

I definitely agree with this.

There is a lot of truth to the comment about the defense, but he has had help with a solid running game and he has only averaged 204 YPG passing the last 4 playoff losses.

It's crazy to think that he would be 1-6 in the playoffs if that weird Dez Bryant catch call went the other way.

I was definitely on board with all the Rodgers talk but looking at these numbers, he's not nearly as dominant as I perceived him to be.

Maybe there is still hope for the Lions to win the division.

They got the TEs going yesterday and I think that was the biggest difference in the offense's success. The 2 TE sets made the run game and play action work so well. Green looked faster than years past, but I'd love to see Davis's speed.

It worked out so well that they let Julius Thomas go. He's just not that strong on the ball.

If Luck is hurt, play Hasselback. He looked a hell of a lot better than Luck does. If Luck isn't hurt, wtf is going on?

Worst I can think of...2008 NFC West went 22-42 and 10-30 outside of the division. 2014 NFC south 22-41-1 and 10-30 outside of the division.

Holy ****!

Big fall from grace. Seems like it was yesterday they had that year with 3 playoff teams and Houston was 8-8.

Idk for certain those are the worst, they just popped in my head so I looked them up. But yeah that division has fallen hard.

Kaep has played one more game. Newton has thrown too many picks to be sure.

Can't believe anybody could be so bad that Gabbert replaces him.

Kaep has stunk, to be fair the running game is garbage, and the line is even worse smelling garbage. Nobody in their right mind thinks Gabbert is better than Kaep, but you can't bench every ***tty player on the team cause then only like 4 guys would be playing.

My thoughts exactly. Kaep has had several moments of brilliance as well as solid play for extended parts of seasons. Gabbert has never looked good. At all.

In games where he threw 13+ times, he's only completed 60% of his passes twice....in 27 career starts!
