NFL Game Thread

Another loser of the game might even be McCarron, robbed of what not only would have been a clutch/memorable performance to win a game...

but it could be the only playoff game he'll get a chance to play/start/win in however long his career is, also.

Hue Jackson is out of there and likely to an HC gig. He got the boot way too soon in Oakland. Orchestrated a strong 4Q offense that should've won the game.

The Bengals have made and lost in the Wild Card round 6 of the last 7 seasons, and 7 of the last 11 years.

They haven't advanced past the Wild Card round (or played in a later round) for 25 years (since the 1990 season).

Agreed. The Pats came out much worse off by having to face KC. Other than Seahawks, KC is probably the hottest team in the league right now. I'll honestly be pretty surprised if the Pats survive next weekend.

Maybe, but they're going to be playing in a much, much colder environment, and if they have to play an "offense needs to score a lot of points" game...that's not really their strength. (Who's covering Gronkowski on that team?)

Can we at least all agree that the Broncos are clearly winners here?

Am torn between feeling some sympathy for Bengals fans and feeling none at all. No one deserves to lose a game like that because of two known idiots, but cheering injured players and throwing stuff on the field is a form of known idiocy too.

With Houston and Cincinnati eliminated, no chance now of an AFC team winning their first ever Super Bowl. Cards and Vikings are the only two of the remaining ten teams without a Super Bowl win. Every team left has been in a Super Bowl.
