He called out the Bama Nation blaming them for the Sugar Bowl loss (of course he softened it by saying he was responsible as well)...HELLO! Fans don't Coach or play the game. Bear never attacked the fans.

I sat in the bama section at the sugar bowl. The bama fans were never behind the team. I never even had to talk smack- they beat me to it.

That very well is probably true...You don't call out 1M fans when you as an SEC coach got your arse handed to you by 2 star players and an unknown Coach.

You hear the term fair-weather fans, and bama fans bring a whole new meaning to it. I did not hear a peep out of the bammers for years until Saban was hired. Hopefully when he bolts for Florida or whoever offers a dollar more, we won't hear from the bammers again, that is until the Bear awakes again.

He could give the Bear's tombstone a golden shower but if he keeps winning and progressing then it dosent matter what he does.

I can see both sides of the argument. As long as he wins I suspect the fans won't care too long.

And there it is... the first tide fan finally figured out Saban for what he really is. It only took 26 months.
