It's hard to believe that they did not support their team, especially when the loss entitles them to another national championship.

I might add that when a local media guy asked him about it when he was in town for the crimson caravan he told the guy, "you're new around here." Then gave a response like he must not be from Bama since he doesn't know how the fans are in this state. He repeated himself, "you're knew around here." I couldn't believe he actually went down that road again.

i wonder if Nicke forgets that he makes as much money as he does to coach at the school he coaches at?

He would have to be CRAZY to leave UA for Michigan. Period. He has proven to be a great recruiter no doubt....but noway he hauls in the same classes at UM that he can pull at Bama.

I don't see why he couldn't. He's recruited well everywhere he has coached, and Michigan is just as high profile as Alabama. In fact, which of the two schools most recently won a national championship?

I don't think anyone would argue that it wouldn't be easier to win a championship at Michigan than at Alabama. At Michigan, you beat Ohio State, maybe Penn State if they're having a good year, and you're in the national championship game.

You think Michigan would fire RichRod after one year? The buyout would be astronomical I bet.
No, but I think they would after two years, if he goes 3-9 again in 2009. Whatever the buyout might be, Michigan can afford it. What they can't afford is allowing their program to go into the toilet. And I think RichRod is permanently damaged goods after the stench he left behind in Morgantown.

Saban knows how to clean up a mess, and do it quickly. When the time comes, Michigan will come calling.

I agree with you.He has 2 and MAYBE 3 years to get it turned around,or he is history.I personally believe Rich Rod will get it turned around just enough in his 2nd year to give him his 3rd year.If you look at RR's recruiting class,it hasn't been bad,and he has went down south and pulled a few of the Pahokee kids out of Florida.
