I think it's Lanning too. He's young enough to take the risk of following Saban and if he proves himself, he'll be there until he's got a couple of mansions like Saban. If he fails, he's young enough to resurrect his career somewhere else.
An older coach has to SET, like Jimbo or Dabo, because failing at Bama after Saban will likely mean their career is pretty much toast.
I guess Kiffin is a wild card. He would crawl all the way to Tuscaloosa from Oxford if they asked him but I don't think they'll ask him unless they hear some hard "No, thanks, not even for that amount" from others.
Jimbo isn't even a thought, and Dabo has coached his way out of contention. I agree they want someone younger and someone who knows his way around the conference. I don't know why, but I just can't see it being Kiffin. Has to be Lanning.
