Nick Saban Saying Strange Things - Retirement Rumors

First off Saban is one of the Top 3-4 coaches in America but what's up with all of his snot bubbling lately? First he was crying about how the speed of the game is bad and it's getting players hurt. I found this quite comical because he really only complains when he can't stop something. Now Alabama loses to Ohio State in the playoff game...a game that would never had been played if not for the new system and Bama woulda been playing for another NC. Nick needs to embrace the way CFB is going or find a new job. He coaches the premier school in the SEC, continues to get #1 recruiting classes year in and year out and still he sits in his high chair and whines.

He's a whiner basically. Someone said it the other day and I forget where I heard it but it was something along the lines of this... Nick Saban doesn't know how to coach a team that's able to win in a playoff system like the one that we just witnessed. Among other things(Kiffin, etc.), the playoff system will be the downfall of Saban.

I will have to disagree, The Big Orange will be the downfall of Saban.............amirite?

Seriously though, they got beat by a better team who were hitting their stride at the time. I dont think their loss will have that much of an effect and cant be seen as an example that Saban is losing it or that he cant win playoff games. JMO

Lol! We'll beat them at some point but UT won't be their downfall. I think it's already started.

I won't argue that Ohio State was the better team, it certainly was.

No, this was someone from the media that said this. I have no idea who IluvedoubleD's is.

I really doubt anyone with any credibility said it. Think about it for a second. Is it possible? Maybe. Do we have any evidence? Not a bit.

That makes zero sense

Ow! That hurt!

Seriously though, Bama is on the downfall.

Everything in football is cyclical. Bama fans thought that a 6-0 loss to Mississippi State in 1980 was just a blip on the radar and did not realize it was more of what was to come. The next year UT lost to Bama but brought a huge 4th quarter come back that produced confidence for a streak of 4 straight wins.

Very similar to what happened in Knoxville this last year.

As I said earlier, I really hope we starting beating Alabama again because our attempts as trash talk are as pathetic as it gets.

^ What you meant

As a matter of fact, this is neither what I said nor what I meant. However, I'll let your creative license slide, as it's obvious I've managed to hit a sore spot with regards to the aforementioned postseason failure. I surely wouldn't want to be responsible for any reduced appetite, sleep loss, anxiety, or hot flashes on your part.

Isn't it fun to brag about what other, more competitive teams are capable of? Sure, the rival fan you're attempting to trash talk could respond with the performance of his team vs yours. But surely talking about what OSU, Auburn, have done is just as effective. Meanwhile, the last UT coach who didn't lay down for Alabama just coached Bama's offense to an SEC title.

Small man/Johnson syndrome.

"Some guys buy a big truck or sportscar. I just troll the message board of the rival team that "my school" is most likely to beat. What the heck - it's free."
