I'm all in on Gruden, and I think there is a chance that the last few days have been a smokescreen (orchestrated by Grudes people, not the genius of Hart IMHO).

But if we swing and miss at Gruden, do we turn around and offer the Gruden money to Saban? Seriously. Al Golden is a #9 like Dooley (Golden > Dooley, but he's still a #9). If we are taking Clay Travis' dumptruck first to Gruden, next stop has to be Tuscaloosa, right?

Might take awhile to talk to King Nick, but isn't that the play? That would trump Arky asking Miles, and would also send the state of Alabama into a conniption - both good things.

As a life-long Miami Dolphin fan and avid 'Bama hater, I would get physically sick if Hart even mentioned the -possibility- of this...

I'm sorry, but you all are crazy. You're saying no to the possibility of stealing the coach of our greatest rival, completely ruining them, and at the same time, gaining us the greatest college coach of our era.

If Dave Hart threw a large amount of money, and Nick Saban wanted to come, then YES I'll take him. We'd be foolish to turn him down. Now, do I think Saban would leave Alabama? No. Do I think we'd offer him? No.

But to foolishly say that if there was a chance at him, you wouldn't take him, get real! I'd be the biggest Saban fan since that drunk woman that kissed him at Bama.

I just don't understand the hatred towards him. He's a great coach, and I have got a lot of respect for what he has done in the College Game.

Thank you!

We get the best college coach in the game, and screw Bama.

When is that not win-win?

(I still want Gruden first though. Beating Saban > stealing Saban).

I only hate Saban because he coaches the tide. Other than that I think he's an amazing football coach and you'd be insane to turn him down. He'd never leave Bama in a million years though. My guess is he'll retire there.

I hate Saban for helping run the Dolphins into the ground then lying about going to Alabama. He's in the same class as Petrino for me.
